Rinconada lot 14 shell build
Design Start: November 22, 2021
Construction Completion: TBD
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Project Type: Commercial
Project Description:
The Rinconada Lot 14 Shell Building was created to offer flexible leasing options for restaurants, retail, or business spaces. The building’s design embraces a modern, industrial style that stands out in the area.
Design and Aesthetic: The building features a striking modern industrial look with exposed steel structural elements and multiple sloped roofs, which are rare in the region. Its exterior combines contemporary materials, including weathering steel panels, composite wood siding, and obsidian-colored thin brick veneer.
Leasable Spaces: The layout includes two potential restaurant spaces positioned at either end of the building. The south-eastern section boasts two large overhead folding doors that open onto an exterior seating area, offering patrons scenic views of the Organ Mountains to the east.
Site and Landscaping: The site design incorporates multi-tiered stone retaining walls, which match other existing walls in the area. These walls were essential to manage the significant elevation change between the building’s floor and the access road below.
The Rinconada Lot 14 Shell Building combines innovative design with practical features to create a versatile and appealing space for future tenants.
