Boys and Girls Club Las Cruces

The Boys and Girls Club project consists of a remodel and an addition to an existing movie theater. The old movie theater has four main theater rooms and supporting spaces. It is approximately 20,000 SF. The construction of the building is block, concrete post and beam with concrete T-bar roof structure. It has no windows and sloped theater floors. The entirety of the building will be remodeled to support a variety of spaces with new mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The new structure will be added to support a variety of window openings and the floors will be poured level. Withing the 20,000 sf will be an administration wing, a STEM lab, a Learing center, an Art room, a PAC, a Commons area, and a Teen Wing with technology loft and music room, as well as a variety of support spaces. The addition consists of the front porches, the Gym and a lobby. The new gym will be big enough to accommodate a basketball court, volleyball courts and pickle ball courts, and bleachers.
