PROJECT DESCRIPTION
SUCCESSFUL ASPECTS
Chemistry Rm. 205 was re-designed to provide a space for flexible learning. The dated space was made modern through the design which featured smooth textured furring walls, sleek glass marker boards, movable furniture and upgrades to finishes and light fixtures.
Excessive noise from the outside disrupted class in the room. Desert Peak Architects provided window shades with noise reducing properties to help dampen the noise from outside. Black out shades were also provided for lighting control.
Infrastructure was provided within the design for a large television screen with casting capabilities that would enable interactive learning.
